Six Thinking Hats - By Edward de Bono

Six Thinking Hats is a thinking tool for group discussion and individual thinking A powerful technique that helps you look at important decisions from a number of different perspectives and a means to plan thinking processes in a detailed and cohesive way.

Six Thinking Hats written by Edward de Bono one of the leading authority in the world in the field of creative thinking.
Blue Hat
Decision-maker and process controller.
Controls the move between different thinking styles, gives speaking permission, formulates discussing questions and takes care not to stray from the subject.

Black Hat
Look at things pessimistically, cautiously and defensively. Highlight the weak points and try to see why ideas and approaches might not work.

Yellow Hat
Think positively - an optimistic point of view. See the benefits of the decision and the value in it as well as spot the opportunities that may arise from it.

Green Hat
Creativity and creative thinking approach. Provide creative out of the box ideas and solutions. Ideas shouldn't be practical or even reasonable - only to open new ways of thinking and stimulate the thought process.

Red Hat
Emotions, feelings and intuitions. Drop something "from the hart" to the thinking process.

White Hat
Details, Details, Details !
Focus on information. Hard facts (that can be checked) to soft information such as rumors and personal experience.

What de Bono wants to achieve is to structure thinking and make it more effective.

"Thinking often proceeds as drift and waffle and reaction to what turns up from moment to moment. ... Suggestions, judgments, criticism, information and plain emotions are all mixed together in a sort of thinking stew,"

The six "thinking hats" are different ways of looking at an issue that has to be decided. This educational, inspiring challenging gift can improve thinking skills and help making the right decisions in life.

Enjoy.

Skydiving

You don’t feel more alive as you do when you are freefalling from the sky.

Can you see yourself as someone who would jump out of an airplane flying at 15,000 feet? It may seem a bit strange that some people will fly high up into the sky in an airplane and then intentionally leap out.

But a lot of people do it just for fun. Can you imagine why someone is daring and crazy enough to do this?

Experience of skydiving is sure an overwhelming experience, the enormous sensory felt but the mind, body and soul at the time of free fall could be best experienced ever.
If you want to sky dive, it's good idea to get some skydiving education. Bear in mind however that skydiving is extreme and is not for everyone. If you are afraid of heights, then forget skydiving and try something else.

How can I skydive?

Tandem jumps allow you to explore the world of skydiving safely with your jumpmaster. For those who want to take it further you could consider doing an accelerated free fall (AFF) program or an accelerated student program (ASP) which once completed allows you to jump solo.

The first jump

Most skydivers make their first jump with an experienced and trained instructor. During the jump the trainer is responsible for a stable exit, and maintaining a proper freefall position.
The first jump is the hardest one. You'll probably feel some resistance in the airplane and fear right before doing it. Your instructor can encourage you, but they will do it only if you tell them you really want to jump in the beginning. Some first timers just don't do it so the instructors will avoid influencing you.

When you start flying, just enjoy. The first jump is experience that will never happen again. The other jumps are also very exciting, but there's nothing like the first time, so try to get the most from it. Of course, don't forget to open your parachute unless it opens automatically.
Why is skydiving such a great option? It's far more exciting, continues longer than any other experience, involve more emotions and beautiful sights.

How will you feel after?

Some people are fascinated with the science of skydiving that enables you to actually control your movement while hurling towards earth at speeds up to 120 miles per hour then gracefully float onto the ground.

Skydiving can be thrilling and give you an adrenaline rush like no other sport. People get addicted to the thrill that is experienced when taking that first step out of the plane and into the air.

After you have had the experience of soaring through the clouds and seeing the panoramic views of the landscape far below you will never want to stop skydiving. People who skydive often times speak of the beauty, and the sense of freedom they experience, floating through the air, and clouds.

The rewards of a stronger self esteem and the knowledge that you were able to overcome a possible fear are part of the draw to the sport of skydiving.

Skydiving is an experience that you can share with friends and family. It is something you can tell your grandchildren about to make them proud of their heritage. It can give you a great story to tell when you get together with friends. Whether you are part of a skydiving team, or prefer to skydive solo you will always enjoy the sensation of flying.

Skydiving is more than just falling from a plane to the earth far below, it is the ability to control your body as you are in a freefall. There are skydiving teams that are able to make their dives look like a ballet in the sky.

Enjoy.
